Recruitment for the Posts of Constable (Tradesmen) Cadre – 2010
Pay Scale: of Rs.5200-20200 + Grade Pay Rs.2000 Per month plus usual and admissible allowances to Central Government employees including ration allowance, medical assistance, free uniform, free accommodation, free leave passes etc.
Medical Standards: (a) Vision: Minimum distant vision should be 6/6 and 6/9 of both eyes without correction, i.e. without wearing glasses. (b) The candidates must not have knock knee, flat foot, varicose vein or squint in eyes and they should possess high colour vision.
They must be in good mental and bodily health and free from any physical defect likely to interfere with the efficient performance of duties. They should conform to the medical standards prescribed by the Force and should be declared fit by a board of Medical Officers of SSB.

Age limit: 18 to 23 years
Selection Process: The eligible candidates shall be issued Admit Cards to appear in recruitment tests. The date and place of recruitment test will be indicated in the Admit Card. The Candidates will have to undergo the documentation test and other fitness tests.
Application Procedure:
Application Fee: Rs.50 (Non-refundable) for candidates belonging to General and OBC category only and no fee will be charged from SC / ST and Ex-Servicemen candidates. The Candidates should attach the Indian Postal Order or Crossed Demand Draft drawn in favour of “The Accounts Officer, SHQ, SSB, Gorakhpur (UP)”.
The application duly filled in by the candidate must be sent to the address: The Deputy Inspector General, Sector HQRS. SSB, FCI Campus, P.O. Fertilizer Factory, Urubarak Nagar, Gorakhpur-273007, Uttar Pradesh.
